My father recently passed away and had these three prints he obtained on Sado Island, Japan when he was stationed there (Air Force) in 1952 and 1953 during the Korean War. Growing up, they were always on the wall no matter where we lived so I believe they are still in the original frames with the prints in the original condition. The backs of the frames are sealed in a heavy paper with the exception of one of the backing paper that had been cut (torn) open to apparently access the print. The print material does not appear to be silk. There are symbols in the lower right corner which I sent photos of. Photos also include a picture of the fabric.
Each print is 16 inches wide by 12 inches high. Each frame is 24 inches wide by 20 inches high.
