This painting was gifted to me by my ex-husband's grandmother; her husband brought it home to Sweden from Paris sometime in the late 1930s. She always referred to it as one of her Renoir paintings; it was sent to the Louvre a decade ago, and they were unable to validate that due to the lack of signature. Their classification was "Renoir's workshop."
