I believe this is a very old oil painting, I inherited from my aunts estate. Her father Edgar A Lawrence at one time I believe was the family doctor to one of the famous Guggenheims in Manhattan, New York. He was also Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis‘s private doctor At one point, the Guggenheim lady asked my grandfather‘s wife if she would give him a divorce and offered her a very large sum of money because they were seeing each other and we’re apparently in love,my grandmother would not grant him the divorce. I know that they were always very well to do and very wealthy. There are other smaller less valuable pieces of artwork I have inherited as well along with many different pieces from Tiffany’s, etc.. and some very beautiful China and silver . I really think this might be something quite valuable.
