Dalí’s Crucifixion (Corpus Hypercubus) is one of his most important religious works. Originally painted in oil on canvas in 1954 (the original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art), it shows Christ crucified on a four-dimensional hypercube (tesseract) and was noted to reflect Dalí’s post-war interest in Catholic mysticism, mathematics and nuclear physics (“Nuclear Mysticism”).
The graphite mark "HC" stands for "Hors Commerce", meaning not for commercial sale; typically, these were artist's proofs or special copies outside the numbered editions. The fact that you have a graphite signature, on Arches paper, is a good indicator that this is an original Dalí lithograph from the 1970s.
