I have a Chinese wall hanging that was given to my father by Tong.Lao who was the Consul General of China c. 1950, in Hawaii, before Hawaii was a state. I also have provenance. An invitation to a reception on the National Day of the Republic of China in 1951. There is another one for 1952. In addition, there is a letter from Mrs. Tong expressing condolences to my mother on the passing of my father.
