14 k Gold diamond and Ruby ring
14k white gold ruby and diamond ring. I have an old appraisal from 2009 at $25,086. Can you make my photos look better? I did not clean it before taking the pics on my hand. These are pics I have taken before. It’s currently at the bank in a lock box.

A 14k White Gold Ruby and Diamond Ring, Modern
four claw-set with an oval mixed-cut ruby, of semi transparent pinkish/red colour, stated to weigh 9.24cts, within a surround of small brilliant-cut diamonds, stated to weigh 0.20ct on a plain shank.
Accompanied by Gemmolological Laboratory of America (GLA)Valuation Preliminary ID Card Ref: GAc-BN-14 dated 11/21/2009.
NB. The certificate which is presumably provided by the retailer, doesn't mention any heat treatment which is abnormal, but it is industrial standard for rubies to be heat treated which does somewhat does restrict the value as does the lack of transparency. The diamonds are stated to be :-
Color:H/I (Near Colorless).
Clarity: I1 (Inclusions are visible with the naked eye)
Also GLA Gem Certificates are not well known or respected in the International Jewellery Trade or indeed internationally recognised
Bearing the above in mind, I find the stated "Retail Replacement Value" above on the high side.
what you sent to me is not an appraisal. it doesn't even include any specifics about the diamonds. it refers to the appraisal I provided to you yet disagrees with it by a mile. I want a refund.
