Dear Chad,
Greetings and thank you for reaching out to Mearto to evaluate your vintage, 14k yellow gold ring with a jade cabochon. This is a lovely piece, and I believe that your date estimate is right on point, I would expect this piece to have been made in the 1960s, possibly in Hong Hong, and likely for the tourist market.
This type of ring, with a jade cabochon and in a free-form gold setting (which is likely unique) do pop up at auction several times a year and assuming the jade is of average quality for this type of ring you could expect it to sell at auction for between $200 and $275USD. That said, if the quality of jade is exceptional (something it is difficult to evaluate without having the piece in front of me) the $400 wouldn't be unheard of.
Thank you for taking the time to upload it and the information surrounding it.
Sincerely,
Erin-Marie
