It is a beautiful pendant. Such vintage pendants and pieces of jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The design of the pendant is lovely and very elegant. It has a fashionable look to it but I believe that it is between 30-50 years old. The necklace and pendant is made of 14 kt white gold, set with 3 cut amethysts and 2 smaller diamonds.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the amethyst pendant has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely piece of jewellery. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
