A Louis XIII carved walnut buffet a deux corps
French, early 17th Century
In two pieces, the step-back upper cabinet with gallery over a case fitted with three short drawers over a recessed area flanked by cupboard doors; the lower section with two short drawers over two cupboard doors, all with raised panel fronts and all on short bun feet.
Top part: 47 inches high, 51 1/4 inches wide, 13 1/2 inches deep
Bottom part: 39 inches high, 51 inches wide, 18 inches deep
