Bought New. 1838 ish. William C Bolton, KY, my great-great grandfather. Bought at local shop in Paducah, with original shop tag. 185 years old!! 1838 Cylinder Hands Escapement Number 1804G pocket watch. Exact Brand, etc, can not be made out. Tested for 14 carrot gold. Uses key to set and also to wind. Has keys plus pocket chain in 14 carrot gold.
