Dear Tyler,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a Holland & Holland top lever Royal Side by Side shotgun made between 1870 and 1890 in London England. This rifle is decorated with elaborate scroll engraving and has technical details as a sideways ejector and belongs to the Royal series.
There is masterfully executed tight floral scroll engraving on the lock plates, receiver, break lever, trigger guard/lower tang, forearm hardware and on the breech end of the rib.
This rifle is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 7.000 to 15.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
Tyler,
If it is for sale please let me know, my email is [email protected]
Thanks!
