Pink sapphires are very much in vogue at present, however currently, the sapphires that command the most money at auction are ones of Burmese origin. Unfortunately, on your report, it doesn't specific where the sapphire is from.

From the images provided, this piece is in great condition and there is no damage visible to the stones in the images provided.

A fair market estimation for a beautiful pink sapphire, ruby and diamond dress ring would be between 3,000 - 5,000 GBP. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail asking prices can be higher and may vary.

Regarding the figure quoted in your insurance document, that does make perfect sense, as it is provided for 'brand new' replacement value rather than purchasing at auction. Insurance figures can vary hugely between auction and retail.
