Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a 20th century copy of an "ángel arcabucero" or arquebusier angel Cuzco School painting. The angel is depicted with an arquebus (an old muzzle-loaded firearm), the ornately decorated dress inspired by the clothing of the Andean aristocrats of the 18th century. The painting in your possession is apparently cut down in size and was relined. The craquelure was induced by rolling up the canvas. Such paintings were reproduced all through the 20th century, but especially since the 1980s for home decor. There is no micro craquelure visible, the colours appear to be modern. Unfortunately I can´t agree on the previous appraisal. You can check the age with a UV or black light. The colours will light up in intensive black violet colours. An old painting would show up with an even mellow greenish yellow if viewed with black or UV light. The estimate is based on similar paintings sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
