2in round 3quarter in thick
Catalina island find. made at Catalina pottery and tile company between 1927-1937 that was owned by William Wrigley of Wrigleys chewing gum
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a funny Wrigley memorabilia clay mask. The clay mask is very charming and was probably made in the 1940s. There are quite a few collectors of this kind of memorabilia however the prices are fairly low and the condition of the piece has to be taken into consideration too. However it is a very charming little piece with a good story to tell.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised online auction, where I believe the Wrigley mask has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the mask.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
I want my money back you obviously didn't research this well if at all! It definitely was not made in the 40s as the Catalina plant shut down in 37...it is an arrow man Wrigley chewing gum advertising souvenir made at the Catalina tile plant not a mask ?!?! seriously sabrina I want my 19 dollars back this is an as of now one of a kind piece of California history if you sold this at auction for 30 dollars I'd buy it and make at least 970 profit off of it I'd like to speak with your supervisor
