Santa Cruz Skateboards, established in 1973 by Rich Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman (NHS) in Santa Cruz, California, is one of the most iconic and enduring brands in skateboarding history. As part of NHS, Inc., the company has consistently pushed the boundaries of skateboard design, art, and culture for over five decades.

Santa Cruz was priced such that it was affordable to a huge audience and, as a result, there are quite a lot of these vintage boards on the market today; currently, when they sell at auction, they bring prices ranging from $75-125.
