This sword has a name plate that reads “American Independence Sword Issued by US Historical Society One of One Thousand-1976” The hilt appears to be made of silver? There are three gemstones in the handle as well as twelve diamonds in the pommel. I have the display board and the handle ornament.
My father and law got it at a garage sale.
