These were inherited from my grandmother who is no loner with us. The chairs have no tags or any indication on who made them. They are in excellent condition and the materials are unknown, though the wood is solid wood.

A pair of Louis XV style fruitwood or beechwood open armchairs
20th Century
Each with arched and shaped back, shaped arms, arched front seat rail with relief-carving, tall cabriole legs terminating in elongated feet with acanthus designs. Back, frame, squab seat and throw cushion upholstered in a foliate patterned upholstery.
Each: 38 inches overall height; width across arms 26 inches
CONDITION: These chairs appear to be in good condition with minor wear commensurate to age and use.
PROVENANCE: Inherited
