He was a struggling artist from Thunder Bay Ontario that came to Red Lake Ontario and the show did not do well. He stopped at a restaurant on the 105 hwy no money for gas. He had enough money for coffee and toast. The kind hearted owner Anna Lerch feed him filled his gas tank and he paid her with 3 paintings
