This pistol was handed down from a relative. I do have a picture.
My daughter's grandfather owned it.
Dear Dana,
Thank you for your help and my sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal.
The presented object appears to be a Browning Model 1922 32. semi-automatic pistol. This is a Belgian Browning Fabrique Nationale Model 1922 pistol and was a WWII Nazi German issue pistol in 7.65mm caliber. The pistol was used by both the German Army NCOs and Luftwaffe pilots. This weapon comes with a holster which is a later addition and the gun itself was probably a trophy by a GI during WWII.
This piece is in medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 400 to 800 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
