For small portraits of children figures measure approx 15cm x 15cm.
I have had these for about 15years - my grandmother purchased them from an op shop. I don’t know anything about them but there is a German selling name on back of one of them and an artist name in the corner of the Portraits. They look circa 60s. I’m interested to know anything about the artist and the providence. They look to be in the original frames.
Thank you for submitting these items for appraisal. The swiss illustrator and most likely self taught artist Sibyl Kaufmann(-Bezzola) from Klosters in Switzerland is known to have painted in the style of Yugoslav (Croatian) naive painters, like Josip Generalić and others. The four seasons offset prints in your possession are reproductions after paintings by Kaufmann-Bezzola. They were made in the 1980s for home decor when this style was very popular in continental Europe. The sentimental value to you will be much higher than the market value.
