Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a lovely vintage teddy bear. Such vintage soft toys are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The teddy bear was probably made as a prop or souvenir for the buyers of Dream beds. It has a lovely soft look to it and appears to be in good condition. However the teddybears that sell for very high prices today are teddybears made in the early 1900s by companies like Steiff, Chad Valley, Schuco etc. Teddybears like yours do have a collector value however pricewise they are not in the high range. They were often mass produced and rarely have a value that exceeds the original retail value.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the teddy bear has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the teddybear.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
