2 Bowls, one with matching lid Size: 4.74" Diameter x 2-5/8" High part of an estate. Purchased in Japan in the 60s.
One owner purchased in Japan in the 60s. Can you give me a price to sell indiviudally and as a set. Thank you.
Dear Susan,
What you have here are Japanese rice bowls, indeed in Imari colors made around 1920. So I believe these are antiques. Sad you much one lid that influences the price. A set of two is better of course. My estimation is for what I see but I will give you price also for the individual pieces. Japanese porcelain market is not at its best these days. Older pieces will go for fair prices but the later pieces struggle to get descend prices. One bowl without lid can made $ 30 and with lid I would say $ 50 / 60.
€ 10 is $ 10.9 at current rate.

THe price per piece with lid has a lower appraised value than an appraisal received for 4 with a different pattern? WHy?
I do not understand your question. One bowl without lid can made $ 30 and with lid I would say $ 50 / 60. This is the sentence. As you can see is the price for a bowl with lid higher ( 50 / 60 ) then a bowl without lid ( 30 ). If you have more bowls then you can multiply simply. I make appraisals on the pictures presented.
