Hi RoJeanne,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
According to an online harp blog, Hidden Valley Harps is (or was) located at 1007 Howard Ave., Escondido, California, 92028; it was owned by luthier Lee Yoder and reportedly founded in 1975. it’s unclear how current the business is, how active they are in building new harps, or whether the same personnel and luthier capacity exist today. Another page characterizes Hidden Valley harps as folk or Celtic harps.
It's hard to find comparable examples as comparatively few of these were made but knowing the harp market as I do, it would likely do well at auction with a $3,000-6,000 estimate; a specialist harp dealer might be willing to pay more for this.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.
