Japanese katana sword made by a resident of Echizen Province. Made by Yoshitane of the Fujiwara clan possibly around 1624. It is in good condition with wear to the blade. See photos and paper written by Mark Jones in 2005.

Blade is 26 1/4 by 1 1/4 tappering down. overall length with cover is 36 inches.
