Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a vintage floral Rogers 1941 TRIUMPH pattern silverplated flatware set in good condition together with a flatware chest. Extra plate is a reference to an extra silverplating on sections of the flatware where more wear is to expected.The flatware chest prevents oxidation and building of silver sulfide on the silver surface.
