Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a lovely vintage Mexican sterling silver necklace with numerous opals. The design is smart and and was typical of the middle 1900s, in particular around the 1940s-1970s. The necklace is approx 16 inches long and appears to be in good condition and with only minor signs of wear and use.
This particular choice of materials was typical for jewellery made around this time.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the necklace has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the necklace set with opals. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
Thank you for pointing that out - I have edited the text so it now says necklace.
Kind regards
Hi Sabrina it is just a necklace with 20 opals. It doesn't have a bracelet with it. There is only one piece of jewelry. Just a necklace, I believe it is approx.16 inches long. Thank you for your time. Carmelita Cardosa
