This is a scapolite rock weighing 1770 grams. It exhibits orange-yellow, blue, and whitish-green fluorescence, along with a whole gamut of other hues, under 365 nm UV light. This fluorescence changes to purple-pink under 395 nm UV light. It shows phosphorescence under 365 UV light, which decays in 2 seconds after being lit for 10 seconds with a 37-watt light. It was found in the Grenville-sur-la-Rouge region of Quebec. The blue seems to be prehnite. The orange-yellow seems to be Scapolite. The whitish green colour appears to be due to fluorite, as evidenced by its phosphorescence. The specimen is untouched. It hasn't been bathed in acid or other washes.
It has a roughly triangular shape, measuring 9 inches on the sides and 4 inches at the base.
