What does this mean?

Hi again Itsik,

This item appears to be a color lithograph designed by Alexander Calder (American; 1898 – 1976) titled "Homage to Euclid." The print was first published in 1969 (edition of 100) and again in 1973 (edition of L [50]). This print is marked "bon a tirer" meaning "good to pull." This inscription suggests that the print is a trial or printer's proof before the edition of started.

The two editions runs ere published on different papers. If you are able to let me know what paper type the print is on, I may be able to let you know which run it was intended for. In the meantime, the estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this image in both edition runs. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
