It was passed down to me by my older brother when i was born in 1949. I believe it is a Chad Valley bear. It is in good condition with no fur loss . There is a very small split on his right paw pad, and the remaining pads are slightly worn, but not split. The head has a swivel action, and when his stomach i gently pressed it plays Rock a bye Baby on the Tree Top.
16 inches high and 5 inches wide at the stomach.

Thank you for your appraisal on my bear.
Based on what i have gleaned from past enquiries there is no big surprise in its value.
As it has been in the family for many years i will probably hang on to it and see if any more babies appear in the family to pass it on. Once again Thank You
