What does this mean?

Triceratops Brow Horn Fossil Pair
Triceratops horridus
Late Cretaceous Period (66 million years ago)
North America, Hell Creek Formation, South Dakota
Overall Measurements: 32''x11''x6" and 23"x7"x8", weight not disclosed

Triceratops, translated as "three horned face" from the greek, was a grass plains vegetarian. Despite its docile diet; it appears to be an animal built for battle with nose horn, brow horns, and a bone frill at the back of the scull. Much debate still exists on the creatures evolutionary form and reason for it: feeding, defense against predatory dinosaurs, intraspecific combat, communication, species recognition, and selective pressures (see link at base of assessment). The examples were discovered in the Hell Creek Formation . This region contains a large number of dinosaur fossils and represents a unique geological setting at the very end of the Cretaceous period. It was a vast river system and flowed through a swampy floodplain environment, creating ideal conditions for preserving the remains of numerous dinosaurs that lived there, including iconic species like Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops. This area was a last hospitable resource for dinosaurs before their extinction event, leading to a high concentration of fossils in this region.

While your restorer titles the paper work you submitted as a "Statement of Authenticity" it is really a provenance record; or a statement of discovery and previous ownership. To achieve a higher sale result at auction; I do suggest an in-person evaluation with a regional anthropology museum, university department, or auction house specialist. This may be at an additional cost. However, determining the percentage of new materials used in the fossil restoration and x-ray or high magnification of the fossilized materials will contribute to an authenticity certificate that most higher-bidding collectors will request. The FMV I have given is conservative as I review only images and cannot assess in detail. If condition is given a high mark: the FMV could triple.
