The ballet dancers are about 11 1/2" tall. The colors are very soft and muted. There are no chips or breaks in this figurine. The following is on the bottom. Hutschenreuther Selb L H S Germany Kunstabteilung US Zone
This is from my mother who passed away in Feb. We do not know where she got it. She could have inherited it from her mother or brother. She also LOVED going to estate sales and antique stores. Before we begin her estate sale we are trying to pull those items that seem to be valuable.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a german Hutschenreuther figurine depicting a "spanish" dancing couple, manufactured by the Hutschenreuter art department "Kunstabteilung" shortly after WW II using molds of the 1930s. This is a porcelain figurine you don´t see so often. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. A serious collector might be willing to pay more than the high estimate.
Thank you so much! This really helps. While I had looked on ebay and saw a price similar to that I wasn't sure it was a valid appraisal.
