It is a 1968 Black Widow X-85 recurve bow made by the Wilson Brothers and a full case of accessories for it. The bow bag is original. Also there is an itemized list of contents from when I purchased it in mid 1970s. The bow length is 64inches. 30@26. Grip No 1. It is model number 21934. The accessories case is 9 x 38 inches (23 x 97cms). Even thought it was used a number if times, it is in excellent condition. The accessories have been used and the arrow fletchings have disintegrated.

Hi Alison,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The Black Widow X‑85 is a classic target‑grade recurve bow handcrafted during the Wilson Brothers era (1957–1976) and is highly regarded among traditional archery enthusiasts. It was originally produced by the Wilson Brothers of Springfield, MO, who founded the line in 1957 and made the bows by hand until 1976. The X‑85 was a mid‑range target model listed in the 1967 catalog with a retail price between $79.50 and $99.50, depending on whether it had a rosewood riser.
