This is a bronze (I believe) sculpture of a man with two woman on each side of him being carried by men. I have been told it is a African Fertility King. It is 3 foot by 3 foot.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a late 20th century Ashanti pot metal / bronze lost wax cast statue of a king being carried by servants in a ceremony. This would be an extraordinarily large Ashanti Bronze of very decorative value, made for the collector´s market and not as tribal art as such. The market for similar items is rather difficult, only if you can prove a provenance, dating the item back to the 19th century, it would have some value. The estimate is based on similar items without provenance offered or sold at auction.
