A vintage African carved softwood mask
Probably made for the export market, Possibly Gulf of Guinea, 20th Century
The elongated stylized form with striated features, tall forehead, bulbous eyelids, elongated nose and open mouth. Unmarked.
14 inches tall, 7inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with minor wear commensurate to age and use.
PROVENANCE: inherited
