The entwined snakes on the head of this mask are often featured on masks made by the Yoruba culture of West Africa (but who are also more widely spreadout, throughout much of Africa).
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

(West) African, first half 20th Century
The stylized human face surmounted by entwined serpents, notched facial decoration and enlarged ears.
11 inches high, 6-1/2 inches wide
CONDITION: This mask appears to be in good age-appropriate condition.
