Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Is it possible to get a photo of the front of this mask from a slightly lower angle? From the profile shots it looks like - when the mask is worn - the horns are more horizontal than vertical, as does the part of the mask that has the pierced edge ...I want to make sure I understand correctly how it would look if one were wearing it.

Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage African export carved wood, fiber and fur mask
unattributed area, 20th Century
With a prominent frontal lobe, pierced eyes and protruding horn-like appendages, the top with affixed fiber and fur materials.
14 inches high, 11 inches wide
CONDITION: This mask appears to be in generally fair condition with some wear and surface abrasions commensurate to age.
PROVENANCE: Inherited
