Thank you for your email. This sword was made by the manufacturer ALCOSO, Alexander Coppel in the city of Solingen Germany. Solingen is since the medieval age a production center for blades that were exported. Especially in the 19th century with the standardization of the military equipment, the numerous manufacturers in Solingen produced for the German states which were unified 1871/1872.
