Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal.
The necklace is composed by 43 beads in an orange-yellow color. The beads have a range between 37x24mm to 17x10mm. Each bead is faceted and it seems to be polished by hand. The clasp isin 14kt yellow gold. The necklace is 30" long and it weights about 292,5g. Observing the photos and considering the weight, the necklace could be amber.
The necklace appears to be modern.
I did not submit this item to learn what it is. That is not in question. I simply want to know its value as an amber necklace. Please re-assess the appraisal as amber.
I have a gemstone tester. It is not quartz. Also, the individual beads are far too light to be quartz. It is amber.
