Oil on board picture titled ‘An Eastern Beauty’. ‘WG’ Monogram to bottom Left corner. Plaque on original gilt scroll frame states W.Goodall (Walter?) but it is believed to be incorrect. Frame is 31 cm x 27 cm x 5 cm. Picture is 23 x17 cm. Christie’s stencil mark to back 304HY. Similar picture titled ‘A Little Eastern’ attributed to William Gale sold on 14 Nov 2013 (lot 102) https://www.christies.com/en/lot/lot-5732492
Christie’s stencil on back 304 HY. Not known who owned previously or if exhibited.
