This painting was given to me by an elderly neighbour which has since passed. She told me it came by ship in 1940 when they moved here from England. It is oil on canvas. It measures 16” x 24” roughly as I had to measure with a tape on my phone. There is a signature in the bottom left corner that reads Winter.

Dear Angela,
Thank you for your request and your patience. The apprised object is a painting made in oil on canvas with the measurement of 16 x 24 inches. It depicts a par force hunting scene in the middle of a forest. The painting is signed in the left corner with the name Winter. Sadly there is no artist with this name and style mentioned in auction databases. This painting was made in the last third of the 20th century for decorative purpose.
This piece is in a used condition and there are many little damages visible.
An estimation would be between 100 to 200 EUR.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
