Antique Bronze Japanese Table Lamp
This table lamp is bronze with a heavy oxidized patina. It is 44 inches tall and the base is 6 inches wide by 6 inches deep. It has been rewired and works perfectly, now. There is a condition issue at the rim of the lamp (see pictures) where there is a damage to the finish that is 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches long.
This piece was acquired at auction a year or so ago. Provenance unknown.

fourth quarter 19th century
Of square section and tapered in the middle, the body centering a swelled element with engraved stylized motifs and protruding nodules, on a stepped square base. Electrified.
44 inches tall, base 6 inches by 6 inches
CONDITION: small loss to top mount.
