What you have here is a cirque perdu casted bronze buddha figure made around 1920 / 1940 in China ( Republic period ) Casting is done quite rough, this buddha is made for export purposes to western countries. the expression is good and the patin is original and authentic. If you would like to buy a bronze buddha like this in the current Asian art market you could think of a price around the estimate I gave above.
