Hi Bobbie,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I can't make out the signature or initial within a circle from the photo you've attached but if you can take a clearer photo of just the signature/circle with initial I can see if I can decipher it. That said, it's unlikely to identify the maker of this clock, which was probably made by two people: the person who made the case and the person who made the works (dial, pendulum, etc).
In the current market, Continental regulator clocks are bringing only modest sums: about $300-500 at auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique Swedish Empire style carved maple regulator clock
unattributed maker, circa 2nd quarter 19th Century
With complex compound molded arched cornice centering an appliqued mask and carved flourishes over a case fitted with an arch-glazed door opening to a white enamel dial with Roman numeral chapter rings and cast brass hands, the case with applied ebonized quarter columns, on a complex shaped drop base. With brass pendulum, two weights, pulley and detached white enamel scale. Back inscribed in graphite "169048" and possible initial or signature (undecipherable from photos).
45 inches tall, 16 inches wide, 7 inches deep
CONDITION: This clock appears to be in generally good condition
