Mirror Top. Skeleton key locking pull down door. Inside has cubbys. Folds down for writing area. Jore. Approx 40" top to floor. Additional 9" with mirror.
I inherited this item from my Grandmother who owned it for years. I acquired in the 70's.
This is an antique late 19th century to early 20th century, Victorian influenced and French Louis style slant front ladies desk with oval beveled mirror mounted to top. Additional requested images of a corner of a drawer to show the joinery and details of the surface have not been provided. From the one small image here, the surface appears to be done in parquetry veneer with gilded metal mounts over pad foot cabriole legs. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
Please add a clear, in-focus image of a corner of a drawer to show the joinery and more close-ups of the details and design of the metal mounts on this.
