Antique gold and diamond ring , about size 4.5
Unknown, probably from Germany
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and the additional information and photos
It is a beautiful ring. Such vintage jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis. The design of the ring and the style it was made in and use of materials leads me to believe that it was made in the middle of the 1900s. The ring is probably made of 14 kt gold. The diamonds are of different sizes and the colour and clarity varies. The larger stones appear to be slightly yellow or toned. It is hard to tell the total carat weight and quality of the diamonds based on a photo alone. However the two larger stones are probably around 1,2-1,4 ct together. And the smaller diamonds on the sides of the ring probably amount to 0,4 ct. All in all I would say that the total carat weight of the diamonds is 1,7-1,9. This is what the appraisal is based on. The ring appears to have some signs of wear and use which is expectable for a ring of this age.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the diamond ring has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely ring. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you

Hi there,
It’s one ring. It will only let me upload 4 pictures. I have no information on it. I know it’s very old.
Thanks
