Doll was made for Kammer & Reinhardt by Simon & Halbig. She is 33’inched tall. Bisque head sleep eyes open mouth, pierced ears. Wig (unknown hair) Ball jointed composition. From 1895-1930. Era. She has damage to one eyelid shown in picture.

With brunette wig, painted features, brown sleeping eyes, composition hands, marked to the back of the head, wearing a (probably later) quilted cream dress.
33 inches tall
CONDITION: This doll is in generally good condition with some minor condition issues to one eyelid.

Hi Sharen,
The doll market has been falling for quite some time; it's led, largely, by older collectors who have aged out of the market and/or passed away, with their collections now flooding the market. With fewer new collectors and a greater supply than demand, values for all but the most important dolls are very soft. Unfortunately, I don't see that trend reversing in the future.
I'm sorry for the bad news but feel it's better to be honest so you can make properly informed decisions.

I was wondering if the doll market is down. I had this same doll appraised in 1994. It was valued between 800-1000. This was done by an auction house .
