This doll belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1894 in Manitoba. She has been well loved and played with. Her silk dress is very fragile. Markings on the back of her head read 119-10 1/2x HANDWERCK Germany 274

made in Germany, late 19th/early 20th Century
The bisque head with blond hair, sleeping eyes and painted features, jointed composition body, wearing a cream tiered silk dress and black boots. Back of the head marked "119-10 1/2x HANDWERCK Germany 274."

CONDITION: This doll appears to be in very good condition; blond hair probably not original.
