This is a pair of Italian Capodimonte reticulated bas-relief molded and polychrome glazed urn vases that have been mounted on pressed metal plinths and converted to lamps. These date to the 20th century and fall in the category of Hollywood Regency style decor. Capodimonte is the original name of the 18th century Italian Royal Porcelain Factory; when it was disbanded the name was not trademark protected and what followed were that hundreds of porcelain firms in Italy and elsewhere used the name Capo-di-Monte as their own. The them on yours are female classical allegorical figures; the half figure handles are referred to as 'terms'. Porcelain does not gain a natural patina (bronze does) and porcelain should not be polished (sterling silver gets polished); a light, careful surface dusting should suffice. The estimate is for the pair together and based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
