A Colonial Revival Chippendale carved mahogany wingback armchair
American, in the Philadelphia manner, late 19th/early 20th Century
The arched back with serpentine wings over C-scrolled arms, trapezoidal seat, all raised on short ball-and-claw carved feet with acanthus returns. Later upholstered in a blue damask silk with brass tack trim
41 inches overall height; depth 26 inches
CONDITION: reupholstered; frame appears to be in good condition with some nicks commensurate with age.
