An antique Art Nouveau brass or pewter dressing mirror, After Erte, Continental, early 20th Century
A mirror on attached stand with a woman on a swing hanging by a chain under the mirror. Height - 17.5 inches by width 12.5 inches Very good condition. The mirror frame and attached stand and woman and swing are all made of a silver type metal. Pewter? A gift from my Aunt who was an antique dealer in Wisconsin. The back of the mirrors appears to be copper in color.

I've found several identical examples online that are stamped ERTE, referencing the professional name of Romain de Tirtoff (1892–1990), a Russian-born French artist and designer. He became famous for his glamorous and elegant fashion designs, costume and set designs, and decorative art.
This could be pewter; it could also be brass - the comparable mirrors I've found show this was made in both materials. Regardless, they usually sell between $300 and $500 when sold at auction.

Can I see photos that show the front (reflective) side of the mirrors? Do they fit into the frame or are they both separate?

Thanks for your email requesting information about the mirrors. Attached are 2 photos that shows how the mirror spins/rotates and that there are 2 mirrors mounted back to back in the frame so that you can use both sides
In the photos, it looks like the mirrors are not in the frame - can you take/add photos of them in the frame?

Thanks so much for your message asking for more info. We looked and did not see any markings that silver pieces usually have. We tried the magnet test and the magnet did not stick to the piece. We also tried to see if any tarnish would rub off onto a white cloth and a bit of tarnish did come off. So no markings, the magnet did not stick and a bit of tarnish came off. I’m stumped and can’t tell if it’s silver or not but it seems it may be but with no markings with numbers / letters - not sure!
As to the mirrors. There are two round mirrors. The mirror swings so you can look at either side. The back of both mirrors has a coppery patina, which is what you saw in the photos. So there are 2 mirrors and on the back of each mirror has kind of a coppery color to it.
